H2S(Zero), LLC and its product families revolve around one central focus: eliminating sulfur compounds (such as Hydrogen Sulfide “H₂S”) and oxygenate contaminants (such as methanol) from Natural Gas and Natural Gas Liquids (“NGL”).
H2S(Zero)’s products can remove these contaminants for longer periods of time and at a lower cost. This leads to longer production uptime, cleaner gas and liquid streams, greater equipment protection from corrosion, and cleaner output streams facilitating greater profitability for customers. Greater customer profits mean producers and refiners can reinvest back into their own assets and processes, pushing greater overall systemic optimization.
Company founder, Mike Callaway, has significant experience in treating H₂S in the oilfield as well as evaluating both solid and liquid H₂S scavengers and related technologies. A common problem that Mike witnessed early on was the limited solutions available for removing sulfur compounds from natural gas. After working with the two most common solutions available and identifying areas for product and process improvement, Mike determined to identify a better H₂S removal solution. Beginning in 2002, he began the process of developing a better solution in the lab and created the (H2S)ZERO Catalyst. From this initial development, the company has developed a product pipeline that is continually improving to meet today’s energy production needs.
